Dr. Baile Zhang
Short CV
Dr. Baile Zhang has been an assistant professor in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received his Ph.D. in 2009 from MIT, following his B.S. degree in 2003 and M. S. degree in 2006 from Tsinghua University in Beijing, all majored in Electrical Engineering. Before he joined NTU in 2011, he was a postdoctoral associate in the BioSyM Interdisciplinary Research Group at Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology Centre in Singapore, and a visiting scientist in the 3D Optics Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT. His research interests included electromagnetic wave theory and applications, metamaterials, optical microscopy, and plasmonic photonics.
