Mr.Cheng-Hung Chi

Project

Short CV
Cheng-Hung obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electrophysics from National Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) in 2012. In 2015, he received his double master’s degree in Electrophysics from National Chiao Tung University and in Nanotechnology from K.U Leuven (Belgium), respectively. From 2016 to 2019, after 1-year military service, he joined Himax Technologies, Inc. and focused on designing diffractive optical elements (DOE) applied for 3D depth sensing applications in consumer electronics. From 2019 to 2021, he joined Ahead Optoelectronics, Inc. as a technical manager to improve the DOE quality and set up an automatically assembling line for (intensity) structured light projectors. In July 2021, he returned to academia from the industry. He joined the Center for Condensed Matter Sciences at National Taiwan University as a research assistant to study thermal conduction on the nanoscale. In May 2022, he started his Ph.D. studies at the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC).
