Dr. Chai Mididoddi is currently a research fellow in Metamaterials and Nanophotonics group (Nikolay I. Zheludev’s group) at Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton.
Previously, he worked as a research fellow (research work is on Threading light through dynamic complex media) in Structured Light group (David B. Phillips group), School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Exeter.
He received his PhD in 2019 from University of Kent for the work on Optical Signal Processing for Data Compression in Ultrafast Measurement (Chao Wang’s group). He also worked as research associate(2018-2019) in Applied Optics Group, School of Physics and Astronomy,
University of Kent (Michael Hughes group) on exploring high resolution endomicroscopy methods using multimode fiber.
He received his Masters degree in 2013 in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Tamilnadu, India.
